my throat is killing me from my stomach being pumped on saturday night and i'm feeling pretty down and dejected overall. according to my friend i'm "beyond help"..nice, but realistically she's probably right. she contacted my mum and told her i attempted to overdose which is definitely not true. it was nothing short of an accident. so now my mum is losing her shit thinking i'm suicidal again. she worries like crazy because i'm alone in the city which i suppose is understandable.
i wish so badly to be just 'normal'.

For your throat, get difflam throat spray. its fantastic, and doesn't make your mouth numb like lozanges do (thus you won't bite your tongue..). It isn't just for colds and flu, I had it after I had a tube down my throat (for a different reason.
ReplyDeleteDon't take what your friend said the wrong way, if they're a good friend they are trying to help you the best way they know how, even if it isn't the right way to go.
Go outside and feel the sun on your skin, see the flowers in the spring air. Maybe you could look into getting a pet? (even a fish!). It the little things that will make you smile at times like this.

Nostalgia, she's wrong. Oh so wrong. It took me a while to find the right kind of help, but when I did I definitely wasn't beyond it. Are you in Melbourne? Because I could recommend some Melb-based stuff if you are.
