so with christmas fast approaching i thought i'd get into the spirit by hosting my second giveaway to say a big thanks to my lovely followers (both old and new) who have continued to support me and nostalgia throughout these crazy twelve months i've had.
my liking towards christmas tends to vary from year to year depending on how i'm feeling mentally and the quality of the year i've had to reflect upon. based on this criteria i should be in full-blown grinch mode right now, but i'm trying my hardest to avoid being a downer and embrace the festive season with a smile on my face.
the winner will receive the following christmas gift:
cat hammill 'chloe hippy' set of three bracelets
cat hammill 'chloe hippy' set of three bracelets
small glasshouse 'montego bay coconut lime' candle
conditions of entry:
- if you aren't already a follower, subscribe to
nostalgia using bloglovin' or GFC.
- leave a comment stating your most fond christmas memory and what you'd like to see more of from nostalgia in 2013.
- leave your email address in your comment.
- the competition will run for twelve days, closing
on monday 3rd december 2012.
- open to both australian residents and those who are international.
- the winner will be chosen at random and
notified by email.
i look forward to hearing your responses and drawing a winner!
good luck to all, and of course, merry freakin' christmas! ♥
good luck to all, and of course, merry freakin' christmas! ♥
I have two fondest xmas memories - one is really Xmas eve, spent with a friend drinking eggnog, getting horrendously drunk while watching Bridget Jones:) And the other is having my mother demonstrate how to put my tent up for Falls INSIDE the living room after Xmas lunch:) We sat in there as a family and drank wine until Xmas dinner:)
ReplyDeleteI would just love to see more! I really appreciate your honesty and the way you share your journey with us xx

great giveaway! I love those bracelets and that glasshouse candle is my favourite and I've just run out!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't pick a favourite christmas memory, they're all pretty wonderful. I just love our traditions, like breakfast at my mum's house and christmas dinner with our friends :)
I can't think of anything I'd like to see more of from you - other than you getting better and being happy :) I hope this happens in 2013 for you <3

Lovely giveaway gifts!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas memory would have to be arrive back home at my Mum's place and sitting on the verandah with a mango daiquiri (mangoes from her own backyard) and catching up on everything! It's just a really nice time to unwind and reconnect with my Mum.
I'm a new reader and have being going back over your posts, I'd just love to see more of your honest writing and pretty and interesting pictures, I really love your style. But aside from that one of your posts really resonated with me as I experienced a similar situation and it was just warming and comforting reading your open words.

I also don't have one single favourite memory, they've all been wonderful. Usually starting with croissants for breakfast, opening presents, then cooking up a storm for family for lunch. Every year now without fail I make those Xmas cake/chocolate mini Xmas puddings :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see outfit posts, purchases and more of your crafty ventures!
It'd also be nice to continue on with this journey of yours with you in a way. You've been so honest with your readers so far, and it'd be great to see how you progress. I suffer from anxiety, so I can relate somewhat :)

DeleteWe don't celebrate Christmas that and I don't recall past Christmases - just the day after shopping ;) so I don't have any Christmas memories sadly. Though perhaps one day we'll have a pre-Christmas luncheon, with a 20s theme and do a secret Santa. :P
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see more pictures you take, perhaps of food? or things you do in a week. But I do think your blog is more fashion/beauty-esque with a mix of thoughts rather than a lifestyle blog.

My fave christmas memory is running to the tree to see what gifts Santa had left :)
ReplyDeleteI love your honest writing so would love more of that
What a cool giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy fav xmas memory is being down at the beach at my Uncle's house with my family and getting loads of presents from all my cousins and Uncle because my brother and I were the only kids so we were spoilt rotten!
I like reading your blog so I dont think you should change anything, but hopefully we will see more happy posts as you continue on your journey of recovery :)
