when i started this blog i never imagined that it would evolve into what it is today. i am truly grateful for all the feedback and encouragement over the past two years and the oppurtunity to form relationships with some awesome, like-minded individuals.

ReplyDeleteI love that you're so honest when you write, and I love that you're speaking out about mental illness. Although I'm not sure if this is your aim, I really think it helps with de-stigmatising it. I'm not really brave enough yet to speak out about my own stories and my own struggles, so the admiration I have for you doing it is massive.
I hope one day I'll be able to be as honest to others about myself as you have been.

I like reading you blog because you have a good and honest way with words. Even though I cannot relate directly to what you write about, it gives an insight to the struggles that those battling mental illnesses go through which helps me show greater compassion and understanding.

ReplyDeleteI follow, read, and like your blog because you seem to me to be a person that is figuring out who they are. You have your ups and downs along the way and you share them with us all. It's nice that we get to see every part of you. I think many blogs hide a lot of truths, but you lay all yours out bare. I love that! We get to see every inch of who you are.

What I love about your blog is that you cover so many different things, a nice change from blogs who just post 1000 pics their outfit per post and nothing else! I love how open you are about something like depression that affects so many people (me included), but hardly anyone is willing to talk about it!

I feel that I can relate alot to you as my sister has struggled with depression and she doesn't always talk openly about it. Your Blog has helped me understand what she is going through, the different ways she may be feeling and has helped me talk and relate to her more.
